Visitors flock to Maine from around the globe to enjoy our world class seafood, and Maine oysters are no exception. Celebrate this tasty and environmentally critical bivalve with us in Freeport on June 29 & 30, 2024 for our third annual celebration of Maine oysters.

There are now more than 150 oyster farms dotting Maine’s 3,500 mile long coastline. Oysters grow slowly in Maine’s cold waters, and that gives them more time to soak up the flavors in their home waters. Differences in the food they eat as well as the temperature and salinity of the water produce a wide variety of flavor characteristics from farm to farm. The Maine Oyster Festival celebrates oysters and the people who farm them from up and down the entire Maine coast!

Field Day in Gray with Maine Womens Cannabi Connection!

The Maine Woman's Cannabis Connection is calling all festival-goers, live music lovers and cannabis enthusiasts to join us August 17th for our first annual Maine Cannabis Festival. Join us for a day of community fun, and reggae beats to finish off the day!

Our event will take place Thursday, August 17th at Stonehedge where doors will open 4PM. It will be a day of community team building, competition, games, prizes, eating competitions, food trucks, a Reggae Show, and more! Field day activities will include both individual and team based events. Teams will be competing in groups of 6.

Jam out and sesh to live performances by reggae icon and cannabis composer Perfect Giddimani and the energetic Adrienne Mack-Davis, whose vibrant sound will get you dancing!
