Libby Davis is the Founder, Owner and Operator of Lady Shuckers mobile raw-bar: an event catering company that sources directly from women-owned sea farms in Maine. A passionate citizen of the world, she has a background in Biology and International Development and is using her voice at a national level to enhance equality and DEI in the industry.

She began her journey in the aquaculture industry 5 years ago shucking and managing a raw bar in Portland and during the pandemic, sought to find more avenues to connect and share the stories of Maine oysters and their farmers to a larger network and audience, in a creative and unique way.

The company launched in the summer of 2021 and since then has generated a reputation of delivering the best experiential raw-bar services available, with a robust underlying social mission of empowering and increasing visibility for women and underrepresented groups on the working waterfront. The company collaborates cross-sector with like-minded clients and organizations to facilitate a diversity of private and public events including, learn to shuck classes, festivals, weddings, and networking events.
